CEE Business Summit 2025 | Join the region's most prominent entrepreneurs and business leaders!

CEE-born companies used to dream about going global. Now, they’re mapping out the flight plan—and fueling the jet. That’s the energy we witnessed on May 28th at the Radisson Hotel in Bucharest, where the 4th edition of the Central and Eastern European Business Summit unfolded with record-breaking insights and ambitions.

Powered by iBanFirst, a leader in foreign exchange and international payments, and proudly organized by Pi2 PR, the summit gathered an audience of over 2,000 online and offline participants, including top entrepreneurs, CEOs, and finance leaders from across Central and Eastern Europe. Their mission: to explore cross-border growth strategies and transform CEE-born businesses into global contenders.

The New Expansion Mindset

Once cautious about crossing borders, companies from the CEE region are now sprinting into new markets. The numbers speak for themselves: with 776 cross-border deals totaling €23.3 billion in 2024 alone, CEE companies have shifted from being acquisition targets to becoming proactive regional investors. It’s no longer a question of if they can go international—but how fast and how far.

The Summit’s sessions tackled just that.

    • “East Meets West” debated protectionism, partnerships, and the geopolitical maze with keynotes by Pierre-Antoine Dusoulier (iBanFirst) and Elena Marinova (Musala Soft).
    • “The New Rules of Risk” brought practical wisdom on how to lead through complexity from business heavyweights like Dragos Dinu (SunWave Pharma), Andrei Gemeneanu (Morphosis Capital), Florin Melinte (Lensa), Dinna Temelkova (Telelink Infra Services), Ionut Sas (UiPath), and Langmár Péter (STRT Holding).
    • A case study from Continest Technologies provided a masterclass in scaling up smart.

Strategy Meets Real Talk

The Summit wasn’t just about blue-sky thinking. It delivered pragmatic tools: how to navigate FX markets (thank you, Valentin Marinov), why culture matters in regional growth, and how the right partnerships can truly unlock opportunities.

And of course, networking was the real currency of the day—a powerful mix of CEE’s boldest voices in one room, with one mission: go global, smart and strong.

Moderated by Cristian Hostiuc (Ziarul Financiar) and Veronika Denizova (Bloomberg TV Bulgaria), and broadcast via livestream, the summit extended its impact far beyond the walls of the Radisson Hotel—marking a new era of international ambition for the CEE region.

Pi2 PR’s Takeaway

For us at Pi2 PR, this event reaffirms a core belief: reputation is your runway. Expanding becomes a lonely road if your brand isn’t known beyond your borders. Our role? To make sure your story travels faster than your sales team.

So, if you’re ready to scale internationally, remember—it starts with communication that moves markets.

👉 Let’s build that journey together!
