Combinatul de Îngrășăminte Chimice Năvodari (CICh), the only Romanian producer specializing in niche technological fertilizers and professional biostimulants, has selected the regional communication agency Pi2 to manage its communication activities in Romania and Bulgaria, in the context of expanding its operations in Southeast Europe.
The partnership comes as CICh expands its operations in the region, marked by the consolidation of activities in the local market, the opening of an office in Bulgaria, and the objectives of developing exports to other markets in Central and Eastern Europe. Through this collaboration, the company aims to strengthen its visibility and dialogue with farmers and partners in the region. At the same time, farmers in Central and Eastern Europe are increasingly looking for solutions that can support the efficiency of basic fertilizers and productivity per hectare.
“We want to strengthen our dialogue with the market and with farmers in Romania and Bulgaria, and to communicate as clearly as possible the value of our technology portfolio. Niche products such as technological fertilizers and biostimulants require a constant effort to inform and educate the market, so that farmers can understand their role in optimizing fertilization and improving crop performance. At the same time, CICh aims to further consolidate its reputation and reinforce its position as a market leader in agriculture by developing strong, long-term partnerships. The collaboration with Pi2 supports these regional consolidation objectives, with a focus on technical advisory, access to relevant information and predictability in deliveries, in order to offer farmers consistent and valuable support,” said Nora Ioniță, Marketing Director CICh.
The partnership includes coordinating the brand’s communication strategy, both at the corporate level and in product communication. Communication and content initiatives will focus on market education, presenting the agronomic benefits of the products, and facilitating continuous dialogue with farmers and professional communities in agribusiness. Pi2 will implement integrated campaigns, including digital marketing and social media (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram), to make technical information more accessible and foster active engagement with farmers.
Pi2 will provide strategic consulting and implement integrated communication campaigns, including in digital marketing and social media (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram), to support a more active dialogue with farmers and to make technical information more accessible to relevant industry communities.
“It is an opportunity to work with a traditional Romanian brand in a strategic sector for the development of agriculture in the region. We aim to build a coherent and relevant communication platform for CICh, which will support both brand visibility and the understanding of the role of technological fertilizers in an agriculture increasingly oriented towards efficiency and measurable agronomic performance,” said Mirela Pitu, Founder and General Manager of Pi2.
“In a context marked by price increases and geopolitical instability, both in Europe and in business, CICh remains a trusted partner for farmers, bringing innovative solutions that support not only agricultural efficiency but also long-term sustainability. We will continue to invest in solutions that address today’s challenges, so that farmers can maximize their yields despite the economic and political uncertainties around us,” said Cezara Vișan, Executive Director CICh Năvodari.
CICh Năvodari is a Romanian producer with a tradition in the fertilizer industry and an active promoter of niche technologies dedicated to modern agriculture. Internationally, CICh is awarded by Plimsoll Global Analysis for financial stability and technological innovation, a recognition that supports the strategic direction of development and investments in technologies relevant to agriculture. For 2026, CICh Năvodari aims to expand its fertilizer portfolio, increase operational efficiency, and invest in digitalization to optimize processes.
